Another recipe from Uncle Ray. He says it’s the best stuffing ever and is good any time of the year.
Nana’s Turkey Stuffing
One russet for each person and one for the turkey
Two medium onions
One box of Pepperage Farm Stuffing
2 sticks of butter
Cook potatoes fork tender, and in a separate pan saute finely chopped onions in the butter and add salt and pepper
In a bowl put 1/2 to 1 box of stuffing add enough chicken broth to moisten ( add slowly so it doesn’t get to soggy)
In a bowl mash the potatoes, add the moistened stuffing mix and onions, salt and pepper and Bells Seasoning. About a tbsp of Bells Seasoning should do but add it a little at a time and taste. Bake @ 350 or stuff in a turkey.
You will need to order the Bells Seasoning from Massachusetts where it is made if you can’t find it in a local store. It’s a very old yankee product. Just go here and they will send it to you. Very inexpensive.
